Farmers Trading are GO

Farmers is one of the most recognisable brands in the country and a name synonymous with a great shopping experience. The Farmers brand is undoubtedly one of New Zealand's favourite household names and is the largest fashion department store chain in the country.

With over 4000 staff and 58 stores nationwide, Farmers needed an efficient and flexible payroll system that would accommodate their needs. So it comes with no surprise that they chose Datacom for payroll.

After months of preparation and weeks of solid effort, we successfully migrated Farmers’ data off our old system and onto the new.

It is with great pleasure to announce the go-live of Farmers on DataPay with ALL of their staff successfully paid!

Below some interesting statistics:

• 3,432 fortnightly employees in a single pay group
• 806 monthly employees in a further pay group
• 628 reports were generated and sent to 61 Stores
• 17,533 pages of reports were generated
• A single timesheet file with over 12,000 lines  imported
• Improvements to timesheet validation have ensured that this process takes less than 1 minute for the abovementioned timesheet size
• The entire pay run executes in 20 – 25 minutes
